The Utqiagvik Trial Court of the Alaska Court System is accepting applications for a Full-Time Court Case Manager 2 (salary range 12). Under general direction, this position performs a variety of clerical and technical functions in support of court operations.
Employees transferring from another State of Alaska agency or applicants with prior legal work experience or education in the legal field may receive consideration for advance step placement.

The work hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.
The following information describes the duties, responsibilities, and qualifications for the Part-Time Court Case Manager 2 (Salary Range 12) position. This part-time position is scheduled to work 25 hours per week and will assist the criminal and front counter clerks.

The work environment is located on Agvik Street, just blocks from the Arctic coast. The office consists of four Court Case Managers 2 under the supervision of the Clerk of Court 3. The courthouse also has one Superior Court Judge, one Magistrate Judge, a Chambers Judicial Assistant, and a Law Clerk. Utqiagvik is one of the northernmost cities and towns in the world and the northernmost in the United States.
Minimum QualificationsGraduation from high school or completion of a General Education Development (GED) certificate AND one year of advanced clerical work experience equivalent to a Court Case Manager 1 with the Alaska Court System or an equivalent position with another employer.
OR
Graduation from high school or completion of a General Education Development (GED) certificate AND completion of a two-year paralegal curriculum from an accredited institution.
OR
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
