General Assistant, Reception​/F&B

Are you passionate about hospitality and looking for a versatile role in a stunning location? We are a charming small cosy hotel nestled in the heart of the New Forest, and we’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking General Assistant to join our fantastic team. This is a hands‑on position offering a variety of duties across different areas of the business.

• Housekeeping
  :
  Help maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring they meet our high standards of presentation.
• Reception
  :
  Greet guests with a warm welcome, check‑in/check‑out, answer phone calls, assist with bookings and provide local information.
• Food & Beverage
  :
  Assist in setting up and serving breakfast, prepare and serve our food offering throughout the day, serve drinks from the bar. Ensure a high standard of food service and cleanliness in the dining area.

• Experience
  :
  Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality or customer service is preferred but not essential.
• Skills
  : A friendly and approachable attitude, excellent communication skills, and a flexible approach to tasks.
• Team Player
  :
  You’ll be working with a small, close‑knit team, so being able to work well with others is key.
• Passion for Hospitality
  :
  Enthusiasm for delivering great guest experiences and a keen eye for detail.
