Hawcoat Park is recruiting.
In addition to a new Bar Manager, we are also looking for casual bar staff, involving mostly weekend working (experience preferred) but not necessary, as full training will be given). Please to emailif interested.

We're looking for a strong, people-focused Bar Manager to take the helm and confidently run the day-to-day operation of our bars. If you're passionate about hospitality, enjoy leading a team, and thrive in a busy environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Your Role will be... Lead the Team- Recruit, train and develop an enthusiastic bar team.
- Inspire high standards of customer service by leading from the front.
- Create a positive, supportive working environment where people enjoy coming to work.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of our bars, cellar and function rooms.
- Manage stock, including brewery orders and deliveries.
- Prepare staff rotas and plan for busy match days, functions and events.
- Manage financial reporting and cash handling.
- Ensure the clubhouse is clean, organised, welcoming and always presented to a high standard.
- Make every member and visitor feel welcome.
- Stay calm under pressure, whether the bar is three deep after the final whistle or hosting a packed function.
- Maintain a safe, compliant and well-managed venue at all times.
- Bring fresh ideas to help the club continue to thrive while respecting its proud traditions and reputation.
- Has previous hospitality experience (management experience would be an advantage).
- Is a Personal Licence Holder, or is willing to obtain one.
- Is a natural leader with excellent people management skills.
- Has experience recruiting, training and developing staff.
- Understands the operational side of running busy bars and events.
- Is organised, proactive and calm under pressure.
- Is confident using rota systems, booking systems and maintaining compliance standards.
- Can promote the club through social media.
- Takes ownership, solves problems and leads by example.
- Holds a full driving licence and has access to transport (desirable).
- Competitive salary (negotiable depending on experience).
