Mark Masons Dyfed is one of the oldest and most respected Masonic lodges in Wales. The lodge has a long and distinguished history of promoting and supporting Freemasonry within the local community. It is committed to upholding the highest standards of Masonic practice and principles, with an emphasis on fellowship and charitable giving. The lodge has a strong connection to the Welsh culture and language, which it actively promotes among its members.

The Mark Masons of Dyfed have a long and proud history that dates back to 1803. It was in this year that a group of Freemasons in the area decided to form a Mark Lodge, which was then known as the “Dyfed Mark Lodge.” The original Lodge met at the Black Lion Inn in St Clears and was granted its charter by Grand Master of England, His Royal Highness Prince Augustus Frederick, Duke of Sussex.

The Dyfed Mark Masonry has grown significantly since its formation and now has Lodges throughout the region, with more than 500 members. Furthermore, it is actively involved in charitable activities and works closely with other Masonic organisations in Dyfed. The Lodge also provides education on the history and principles of Freemasonry to its members as well as to the general public.

The past two centuries have seen many changes to the Dyfed Mark Masonry, but its core purpose remains unchanged:
To promote good fellowship among Masons and to develop high moral standards and ideals among its members.
