Permanent PositionWe have an exciting opportunity for two Apprentice HGV Technicians to join our successful After Sales Team at our Stoke on Trent workshop.

Working alongside our experienced technicians, learning how to maintain, service and repair Heavy Goods Vehicles to the highest standard. Combining on the job training with formal qualifications to develop the skills and the knowledge required for a successful career in vehicle maintenance.
What you will be doing:- Assist in carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of HGV vehicles
- Learn how to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Work alongside the Technician team to complete repairs and maintenance in line with safety and compliance regulations
- Learn how to ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards including MOT preparation.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve workshop productivity targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all works carried out
- Ensure health and safety practices are always adhered to.
- Attend training sessions (usually a week block) at our designated Renault training academy. (accommodation and meals paid)
- Complete coursework and assignments to archive your qualification.
- A passion for mechanics
- Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from our experienced technicians.
- Minimum GCSE’s (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths
- A commitment to completing the apprenticeship and achieving your qualification.
- Strong interest in HGV systems, diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Commitment to health and safety protocols.
