MET TECHNICIAN/ STRIP FITTER
Salary: £50,000–£55,000
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 6am–4pm or 7am–5pm
Location:
St Albans
We are looking for a talented and efficient MET Technician/Strip Fitter to join our leading team. As a MET Technician/Strip Fitter, you will repair damaged vehicles in line with manufacturers' specifications within a state‑of‑the‑art bodyshop, using modern equipment and techniques.
Responsibilities- Work efficiently in a fast‑paced accident repair centre.
- Follow correct repair techniques and produce work meeting factory specifications and customer satisfaction.
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship as an MET Technician/Strip Fitter and hold a technical qualification such as NVQ/VCQ/SVQ/ATA.
- Previous experience as an MET Technician/Strip Fitter in a busy body shop.
- Strong team player with self‑motivation to earn bonus hours.
- Demonstrated up‑to‑date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and high standards of workmanship.
