We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Diagnostic Vehicle Technician in Barry.

Duties of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
  • Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and electrical issue resolution
  • Perform large repairs and component replacements adhering to client standards
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high quality standard with first-time accuracy
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and workshop procedures
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of diagnostics and repairs
  • Support workshop team to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold health and safety standards
Requirements of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent; applications from time-served technicians will also be considered
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Reside in or near the Barry region or within reasonable commuting distance
  • Strong diagnostic skills, particularly with electrical systems
  • Committed, reliable, and a team player
