Mild to Moderate Support Needs (MMSN) formerly Mild/Moderate (M/M)
Major
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides individual and small group assistance related to the pupil's specific learning disabilities, educational problems, and total educational adjustment. Evaluates pupils' academic and social growth, keeping appropriate records and communication progress with parents. Participates with the I.E.P. team to develop the individualized education program for each student placed in the class.
Requirements /
Qualifications:
1. Must possess a valid Education Specialist California Teaching Credential with EL Authorization.
2. Education Specialist Credential must indicate Mild to Moderate or now Mild to Moderate Support Needs (MMSN) Authorization.
3. Interns, those eligible for a PIP or STSP Permit may be considered.
4. EDJOIN Application Must Include: copy of transcripts, copy of appropriate credential, copies of all test results; CBEST, CSETs, etc. 5. A minimum of three (3) signed Letters of Recommendation dated within two years.
6. Valid CPR Certification
