Part Time Faculty Pool - Drama​/Theater Arts

Continuous recruitment for part‑time faculty (up to 67%) for substitute, temporary, or hourly assignments on an as needed basis. Part‑time faculty applications remain in the pool for one year and will be contacted by the hiring manager if the department/division is interested in scheduling an interview.

Assignments are available at the main campus, online, and at off-campus sites located at Fort Irwin. Assignments are at the discretion of the district.

Master’s or Master of Fine Arts in drama/theater arts/performance OR Bachelor’s or Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama/theater arts/performance and Master’s in comparative literature, English, communication studies, speech, literature or humanities OR the equivalent.

Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse, academic, socio‑economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

• Demonstrated proficiency in teaching at the community college level.
