- Assist in the planning and execution of the cross country program at Barstow Community College.
- Recruit competitive players.
- Plan and direct conditioning, training, practice and athletic performance of student/athlete team members.
- Maintain team statistics and records.
- Develop and maintain a close relationship with local high school coaches.
- Provide compliance with college rules and policies, the Commission on Athletics as well as other applicable regulatory agencies.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
- Must have either an Associate's Degree and six years coaching experience; OR a Bachelor's degree and two years experience;
- Must demonstrate a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

A part-time, certificated position. Indexed to part-time faculty rate ($63-$68) on the BCFA Salary Schedule, plus a $3,000 stipend per semester.
