Job Description

The Medical Technologist performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and monitoring of various disease states. This position follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing, analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. The role involves working with limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and may require familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.

• Perform diagnostic tests on patient samples.
• Prepare samples for testing according to standardized procedures.
• Analyze test results ensuring accuracy and critical limits.
• Collaborate and report findings to supervisors.

• BA/BS Degree required.
• California CLS license is mandatory.
• Must be a certified medical technologist.

This position requires 12-hour shifts from 06:00 to 18:30, and shift times will vary. Discuss specific scheduling with the Director.
