RN Nurse, Operating Room Nurse, Surgical Assistant
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Position
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic surgical team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in the operating room, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other personnel to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Ensure timely preparedness of surgical supplies and equipment.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding their care and surgical processes.
- Update physician preference cards and maintain accurate inventory of operating room supplies.
- Supervise and assist other personnel in delivering patient care within the operating room.
This position offers Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts. The candidate must also be available for on-call duties during nights and weekends.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior travel experience preferred
