Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts;
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity;
Control access at gates, entrances, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, logging visitors, issuing badges when applicable, and directing traffic or deliveries per site procedures;
Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports, use radio and/or telephone communications, and coordinate with Allied Universal supervision and site representatives as needed
