Position Purpose

This position supports the agency’s mission to ensure Oklahomans have access to better health and care. This role involves assisting in the coordination of program activities, ensuring compliance with policies, resolving member and provider issues, and supporting the development and implementation of program initiatives. The Sooner Ride Coordinator II collaborates with internal teams, community organizations, and external partners to optimize program efficiency, drive operational excellence, and uphold OHCA’s core values of passion for purpose, accountability, and transparency.

Essential

Functions
  • Assist in the coordination of program activities to ensure effective planning and use of effective delivery and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Assist in communicating and collaborating with providers, partners, and community organizations to promote program initiatives.
  • Assist members and providers by resolving issues, coordinating services, and ensuring timely support.
  • Assist in collecting and reporting basic data related to program activities.
  • Assist in supporting the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and grant proposals.
  • Travel as needed to support program activities and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not supervise.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Competency Requirements

The Coordinator role requires strong knowledge of agency policies and program administration, the ability to evaluate performance and resolve administrative issues, and effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders. Key skills include strategic coordination of program activities, managing compliance, and optimizing resource use. The Korn Ferry competencies that align with this role are Manages Complexity (handling multiple program demands and compliance) and Collaborates (working effectively with internal and external partners).
