Position Title:

Sales Lot Attendant

The Sales Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and presentation of the dealership’s vehicle inventory. This position supports the sales team by staging vehicles for display, customer delivery, and test drives, while also assisting with lot logistics and general appearance. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping the dealership’s inventory and lot professional and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain the vehicle lot for both new and used inventory.
  • Park, move, and stage vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled, and display-ready.
  • Assist with vehicle check‑in upon arrival from transport or trade‑in.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and accurate window stickers.
  • Support the sales and management team with customer deliveries and test‑drive coordination.
  • Maintain lot signage, flags, and display materials.
  • Assist with vehicle photography, lot cleanup, and general facility presentation.
  • Follow all dealership and safety guidelines when operating vehicles.

Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Prior automotive or lot experience preferred but not required.
