Sodexo Energy & Resource is seeking a Safety Coordinator to drive a safety culture for an Oil & Gas client in Bartlesville, OK.

This position is responsible for supporting safety management and compliance and ensuring legal compliance with all Federal (Provincial), State, and Local regulations.

This role offers a chance to champion workplace safety by managing and delivering comprehensive training programs that foster a culture of awareness and continuous improvement. You will play a vital part in ensuring compliance with safety standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to protect employees and enhance operational safety practices.

The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Performs specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however may collaborate with a team.

$23.50 - $30.41

• Oversee daily operations of the safety training program to ensure smooth and effective delivery.
• Coordinate and deliver mandatory safety training tailored to company policies and specific site requirements.
• Maintain accurate training records, track completion rates, and ensure all documentation complies with regulatory standards.
• Support internal safety audits and assist with timely follow-up on corrective actions.
• Foster a safety-first mindset through targeted awareness campaigns and regular safety communications.
• Partner with operations and HR teams to integrate comprehensive safety orientation into the onboarding process, while staying current on regulatory changes to update training materials accordingly.

• Adaptability and resilience to manage shifting priorities and respond effectively to urgent safety concerns.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to coordinate training sessions and maintain accurate compliance records.
• A proactive, solution-focused approach to identifying risks and enhancing workplace safety.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written, to deliver engaging training and clear reporting.
• Attention to detail in conducting audits, tracking compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Education Requirement:
  High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered
