Bartlesville First Baptist Church (BFBC) is a historic, downtown church in the thriving community of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. With a rich legacy of faithful ministry and Christ-centered worship, BFBC is committed to building on that foundation as we seek God’s direction for our next Worship Pastor.

BFBC is a growing, vibrant, multi-generational church with over 400 active members. Our worship ministry is strong and well-supported, composed of gifted musicians and vocalists who are eager to serve and be led well.

We are seeking a Worship Pastor who is first and foremost a shepherd—someone who loves Christ, loves people, and is called to pastoral ministry. This individual will lead our church in authentic, Christ-exalting worship while investing in the spiritual growth of those they serve.

• A person of integrity with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
• A gifted musician and vocalist with the ability to lead and develop others
• A person with other skills and abilities, as this will be a dual role based on the person’s giftings

Our church values worship that reflects the biblical vision of Colossians 3:16 and Ephesians 5:19—singing “psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs” that are Christ-centered, theologically sound, and musically excellent. We draw from a wide range of modern worship songs and hymn-based resources that encourage the church to sing with gratitude and praise to the Lord. We also deeply value historic hymns, rooted in sound doctrine.

We are praying for a leader who will:

• Faithfully shepherd and disciple those in the worship ministry
• Lead our congregation in meaningful, Christ-centered worship
• Equip and empower others to use their gifts for the glory of God
• Help cultivate a culture of worship that extends beyond Sunday mornings
