Health, Safety, & Environmental Intern – Summer 2026 at ABB, Bartlesville, OK. Position reports to the HSE Manager.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within defined timelines.
- Leverage insights about customer needs and ABB’s offerings to identify suitable solutions for clients, leading to project results that meet customer expectations.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
- Seek feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.
- Identify and improve safety at the site through the use of technology, work‑cell redesign, improved ergonomics, and other means.
- Work with area leaders and process experts to perform and update Risk Assessments.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Fire Protection and Safety, Process Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related fields.
- Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
- Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
This internship offers a pay range of $20–$34 per hour. Internships are not eligible for company-sponsored medical benefits, 401(k) contributions, or paid time off.
