About This OpportunityWe are a privately held, $1B+ AUM multi-family office and registered investment advisor growing at 37% this year. We're building our portfolio strategy and planning capabilities to serve ultra-high-net-worth families and business owners, and we're looking for someone who can think strategically, communicate clearly, and hold their own in complex advisory situations.
This is a growth hire, not a backfill. You'll work directly with our senior leadership team on real, sophisticated client work: business sales, asset allocations, estate planning, charitable strategies, and complex financial scenarios that require both analytical depth and the ability to translate complexity into clarity.
What You'll Do- Serve as an internal strategic partner for ultra-high-net-worth clients ($5M+ households)
- Develop and present performance reporting with comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Collaborate on portfolio positioning, tactical recommendations, and client goal alignment
- Participate in and lead client meetings, explaining sophisticated financial concepts with confidence and clarity
- Support senior advisors with detailed analysis and strategic recommendations
- Build integrated financial strategies, tax-aware planning ideas, and investment scenarios
- Support senior advisors with in-depth estate planning, charitable strategy, and multigenerational wealth planning analysis
- Help design proposals for new and prospective clients
- Conduct bespoke research and strategic analysis on complex situations
- Maintain consistency in client communication and follow-up
- Coordinate across client relations, investment management, and operations teams
- Support leadership with research and strategic initiatives
- Build and manage relationship pipelines across partner firms and professional networks
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field
- Active Series 65 license
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in financial advising, portfolio strategy, or wealth planning
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly—to clients, colleagues, and external professionals
- Fully on-site availability in Oklahoma City, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- CFA, CFP, or WMCP designation
- Family office or multi-family office experience (materially shortens ramp)
- Experience managing ultra-high-net-worth relationships ($5M+ AUM)
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivots, macros), Orion, Redtail, Morningstar, PowerPoint, Bloomberg
- RIA, family office, or wealth management industry background
- A book of business or existing client relationships. This is not a production role.
- Bonus: Based on participation in firm bonus pool
- Three-Year Trajectory: Approximately $300,000 total compensation
- Medical: Firm covers 75% of employee-only premium
- 401(k): Dollar-for-dollar match to 3%, plus 50% match from 3% - 6%
- PTO: Starts at 2 weeks, capped at 6 weeks (one week carryover)
- HSA: $2,500 annual employer contribution
- Equity: Future opportunity to purchase equity with distributions attached
- Relocation: Available if needed
On-site presence in Oklahoma City is non-negotiable. This work requires in-person collaboration with clients and the team.
