- Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join a busy healthcare team in Tulsa. This position will support both clinical and front office operations while providing exceptional patient care and customer service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working directly with patients and providers in a fast-paced medical environment.

- Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care responsibilities including rooming patients and obtaining medical histories
  • Check vital signs and perform screenings according to provider guidelines
  • Assist providers with charting, procedures, and patient flow
  • Administer medications and relay provider instructions to patients and families

    Answer incoming calls and assist with phone triage
  • Verify prescriptions with physician orders
  • Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-in/check-out
  • Verify insurance coverage and update patient demographics
  • Obtain medical records, lab reports, referral information, and hospital documentation
  • Maintain accurate patient charts and complete forms and requisitions as needed
  • Support daily clinic operations and provide excellent customer service
Medical Assistant
- Additional Qualifications
  • Experience working in a physician office, clinic, or healthcare facility preferred
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist where needed
  • Comfortable working with both clinical and administrative duties
