American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab with 2+ years of experience and required imaging or invasive cardiovascular credentialing.

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• 13-week assignment
• Shift runs 06:45-17:00 or 07:00-17:30
• Performs angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures
• Assists Radiologist/PA during procedures

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential from CCI required within 6 months of hire, or Cardiographic Tech (CCT) credential from CCI required prior to hire, or ARRT Radiography credential required prior to hire
• ACLS preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• PALS preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• License required if applicable
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start of assignment

• Prepares and positions patients, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters
• Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within scope of practice and applicable regulations
• Monitors patients during procedures and reports abnormal activity
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines
• Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards
• Radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
