Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to bridge the gap between the technical environment and the business. Each day, you will use data analytics to assess processes and outline problems, opportunities, and solutions, to support decisions for new or changed Information Systems (IS) solutions or services. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting constantly in the continual service improvement process.
The work model for the role is:
Onsite
- Infrastructure Operations:
Oversee the daily availability and health of onsite critical infrastructure, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), multifunction printing fleets, and backup systems. - Service Delivery:
Manage the performance of external Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for print and backup services to ensure SLAs are met and issues are resolved permanently. - Testing & Validation (UAT):
Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new hardware deployments, software patches, or system upgrades. Ensure all technical requirements are met and validated by stakeholders before final production release. - Data Protection & Compliance:
Execute daily operations for data preservation and recovery using DellEMC Avamar and Veeam. Support Legal and Compliance teams by managing Litigation Hold requests and data retrieval. - Incident Management:
Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues related to onsite infrastructure; lead troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime. - Lifecycle Management:
Monitor equipment health, plan for hardware refreshes, and coordinate maintenance windows with business stakeholders. - Continuous Improvement:
Identify recurring operational failures and implement technical fixes or process changes to improve system reliability and reduce ticket volume.
- Experience:
3+ years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure Support, or Service Delivery. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science preferred, or equivalent hands‑on enterprise experience. - Technical Expertise:
Proven hands‑on experience with backup and recovery tools (DellEMC Avamar, Veeam) and printer fleet management (Xerox OS). - Hardware Knowledge:
Familiarity with UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) maintenance, monitoring, and capacity planning. - Process Frameworks:
Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management) is highly preferred. - Communication:
Strong ability to communicate technical updates to non‑technical business leaders during outages or maintenance windows. - Languages:
Fluent in English and Spanish (Written and Oral). - Candidate must have work authorization to work in the United States.
