SAP Tester

The nxtgen Finance Core Solution Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the program deliverables meet the agreed specifications for one or a combination of several Finance capabilities including General Accounting, Production Revenue Accounting, Joint Venture Accounting, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, and/or Treasury as part of the SAP S4 ERP program delivery. The Solution Assurance Analyst collaborates with workstream SMEs, Test Leads, PwC work streams, Solution Assurance team, other members of the Agile Team, and business SMEs from around the globe to develop testing scenarios, perform solution validations during various test cycles, capture evidence, and defects in Test management tool (TestFLO), and ultimately ensure that the solutions are defect-free.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Understand and interpret the anchored Agile strategy work approach followed for nxtgenERP implementation across Global Design, Build, and Deploy phases of the ERP project.
• Work collaboratively with other Finance Core ERP Agile Team members and global business SMEs to understand business requirements.
• Develop test scenarios and scripts, build datasheets, perform scenario validations, and test cases validations Analyze test results on system usability, data quality, and completeness.
• Prepare evidence and defect reports covering all aspects related to testing carried out and capturing them in Jira.
• Coordinate with Finance Test leads and SMEs, effectively communicating on Test executions and supporting defect triage.
• Support the Core Finance and Change Management teams in training development and roll-outs as applicable

Basic/

Required:

• 1+ years of experience in the Finance function
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Testing
• Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to be trained on new testing tools like Jira-TestFLO, Tricentis-Tosca, etc.
• Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to travel to global business units for discrete time periods to assist with testing for phased releases

Preferred:

• 5+ years of experience in oil & gas or energy-related industry
• Intermediate functional expertise in SAP processes, data, and technology including SAP Finance Modules such as FI (Financials), CO (Controlling – including cost centers, WBS elements, allocations, etc.
