The WRAP Project, dedicated to Recovery, Assistance, and Prevention, enhances the Oklahoma District 27 area through a thorough revitalization process. This initiative aims to safeguard, improve, and advocate for rural lifestyles, social welfare, cultural engagement, environmental, stewardship, Boys and Girls Clubs, and the preservation of community heritage. This service oppertunity is offered through our Wagoner Boys and Girls club.
Member Duties :The VISTA Youth Leadership & Mentoring Program Coordinator will research and develop programs that help young people build confidence, leadership skills, positive relationships, and personal responsibility. The coordinator will also create resources to recruit, train, and support mentors in opioid prevention of best practices, educational workshops, and community partnerships that connect youth with guidance and opportunities. They will develop a tracking system to collect participation data, evaluate program outcomes to ensure youth receive consistent support in a safe, encouraging environment.
