** How you'll make an impact in this role*
* + Drive Unit Excellence:
Coordinate all unit staffing and provide inspirational leadership to ensure the seamless implementation of clinical objectives and the continuous delivery of outstanding, high-quality patient care within your assigned area.

+ Own the Daily Plan:
Utilize your independent clinical judgment to meet with staff, assess daily patient care requirements, and strategically plan shifts, services, and patient assignments.

+ Ensure Optimal Staffing:
Develop and distribute equitable patient care assignments, ensuring care is population-appropriate, while being accountable for productivity targets and communicating variances to unit management.

+ Develop and Mentor Your Team:
Directly assign, guide, educate, and continuously monitor the performance of nursing and support associates throughout their assigned shifts, fostering their professional growth.

+ Champion Quality and Resolution:
Serve as a key resource for patient care concerns, professionally responding to and managing complaints through established quality channels.

+ Facilitate Operational Readiness:
Ensure the unit is always prepared by proactively setting priorities based on daily patient and physician dynamics and facilitating the timely availability of all necessary materials, resources, and supplies.

+ Contribute to Talent Decisions:
Provide vital input and expertise into the hiring, training, directing, development, and performance evaluation of your team members

** What minimum requirements you'll need*
* Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

+ Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

+ Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
