Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Surgical Stepdown to join a leading Hospital in Tulsa, OK. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes for cardiac surgical patients.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced Stepdown, Cardiac, Telemetry, or Critical Care nurses looking to grow within a dynamic cardiovascular environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process
- Monitor and evaluate cardiac surgical stepdown patients
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Coordinate discharge planning and patient education
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Support unit goals through quality improvement and educational activities
- Deliver patient-centered care considering age, cultural, and psychosocial factors
Qualifications
Required
- Active Oklahoma RN License OR Compact/Multi-State RN License
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Manager may consider strong new graduates with prior LPN cardiac experience)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred
- Cardiac Stepdown, Telemetry, PCU, ICU, or Cardiac Surgical experience
