Position Type:
Minimum 6 months with potential for extension
Put your scientific skills to work in a hands-on laboratory environment. We're hiring a safety-focused Lab Technician to prepare and test chemical, material, and plastic samples using analytical instruments. You'll collect and organize data that helps internal research teams make informed decisions.
Job Duties- Prepare samples and perform laboratory testing, including Rheology and GPC
- Operate analytical instruments according to established procedures
- Collect, organize, and share testing data with internal customers
- Perform basic data analysis as needed
- Maintain organized sample and data inventories
- Follow all safety, environmental, health, and security procedures
- Exercise Stop Work responsibility when unsafe conditions are identified
- High school diploma and more than one year of analytical or research laboratory experience, or a bachelor's degree in a science-related field
- Ability to work independently following initial training
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation
Experience with Rheology, Chromatography, GPC, HPLC, HPLC/MS, FTIR, Raman, DSC, TGA, HPOIT, optical microscopy, or microtomy.
