Job Description
You lead a team of field sales representatives/managers to ensure execution of the sales strategy and achievement of annual KPIs and targets.
How You Will Contribute Execution Leadership- Translate the national retail execution strategy into actionable regional plans that deliver sales and distribution goals.
- Ensure consistent in‑store execution of sales, merchandising, and trade marketing programs across all retail channels.
- Monitor retail KPIs (availability, share of shelf, display compliance, execution quality, etc.) and take corrective actions to ensure excellence.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 1,500 employees, build a culture of accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement ensuring safety, inclusion, and engagement of all field personnel. Identify and develop high‑potential talent for future leadership roles.
- Manage regional P&L (1.5B annual Sales) and resource allocation to achieve productivity and cost‑to‑serve goals.
- Optimize route‑to‑market, retail coverage, and workforce planning using data and analytics.
- Drive planogram and merchandising focus on new items and key brand priorities.
- Drive standardization and best practices across territories.
- Partner with key retail customers and distributors within the region to strengthen relationships and drive joint value creation.
- Collaborate with Category, Trade Marketing, and Sales teams to bring brand plans to life at the shelf.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for customer or execution challenges within the region.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (Supply Chain, HR, Finance, CBT) to enable execution readiness and efficiency.
- Champion adoption of digital tools, analytics, and performance dashboards to enhance field productivity, improve in‑store execution and enhance shopper experience.
- Foster a culture that embraces innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
- Solid experience in CPG Sales, Field Operations or Retail Execution, Strategy role and Large Customer.
- Proven track record leading large, multi‑level field organizations (1,000+ employees).
- Strong knowledge of retail channel dynamics and execution KPIs.
- Proven success with key national and regional customers (Walmart, Kroger, Target).
- Demonstrated ability to manage P&L, budgets, and performance metrics at scale.
- Experience leading through data, technology, and process transformation.
- Deep and relevant experience in Food & Beverage.
- Experience in DSD model.
- 15+ years of experience in CPG Sales, Field Operations or Retail Execution, Strategy role and Large Customer.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Travel – 60%.
- Experience leading large regional team, managing a large budget ($1B revenue).
The base salary range for this position is $174,100 to $287,265; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for over achievement based on performance and company results and eligibility to participate in our long‑term incentive program.
