Electric Apprentice Lineman Position:
Town of Laverne

Laverne Electric is seeking applications for an electric apprentice for our Journeyman Lineman Program. This position is safety sensitive. Duties include install, change, transfer, move and remove poles, pole line hardware, transformers, lightning arresters, streetlight equipment, energized conductors, insulators, conduit, capacitor bank controls and all forms of electrical material and accessories utilized in the construction, maintenance, and operation of electric circuits.

Requirements include:
In 6 months you must to obtain Class B CDL, high school graduate or approved equivalent, the ability to work in physically demanding conditions and unfavorable weather conditions while handling dangerous equipment. Successful applicant must be able to work nights, holidays, weekends, and emergencies. Twenty-minute emergency response time preferred. The position is full time with benefits, competitive pay, based on experience.
