Garage Door Technician

• Install residential and commercial garage doors and gate operators
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair existing equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on doors and operating systems
• Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and performance requirements
• Identify the best solutions for customers based on safety, functionality, and reliability
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members to complete projects

• Good character and strong work ethic
• Mechanical aptitude or prior mechanical experience
• Team player with excellent collaboration skills
• Friendly and professional customer service skills
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Basic business math skills
• Legible handwriting
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record (must be insurable)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

This is an active, hands-on position that requires:

• Standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• Working on ladders and using power tools
• Reaching above and below shoulder level
• Working in garages, tight spaces, and outdoor environments
• Exposure to heat, humidity, rain, and changing weather conditions
• Full use of hands and finger dexterity for installation and repair work
