Role Overview We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a software team located at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, OK. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software system and subsystem engineering models. The engineer will collaborate with a diverse team to design, develop, and deploy operational flight software used to monitor and test the system.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, and maintain software system and subsystem engineering models using Jira.
* Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements and technical specifications for stakeholder use.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and deploy operational flight software.
* Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize system and subsystem components for systems integrations.
* Serve as a system and subsystem resource to team members.
* Debug and resolve issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.

Required Qualifications
** Technical

Skills:

*** Ability to code in C and/or ADA.
* Experience with JIRA.
*
* Additional Requirements:

*** This position requires a U.S. Person for purposes of Export Compliance.

Preferred Qualifications
* Embedded software design experience is preferred.

Work Environment
* The position is fully onsite at Tinker AFB.
* The work schedule is full-time, first shift, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
* This role follows a 9x80 work schedule.
* Overtime of up to 10% may be expected.
