Overview
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Aeronautics Systems sector in Oklahoma City, OK.
Job SummaryThis role supports the development of Strategic Operating Units and contributes to software engineering initiatives for several programs.
Responsibilities- Support the development of Strategic Operating Units, executing sustainment and modernization programs.
- Contribute to software engineering initiatives with software design & development, software test and integration, and Dev Ops expertise.
- Use a variety of software languages, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Support all phases of the development life cycle for flight, mission, lab, and tools software.
- Architect, design, implement, integrate, verify, and qualify safety-critical embedded real-time software on RTOS such as VxWorks, Integrity, and Real-Time Embedded Linux.
- Develop and script on C, C++, Python, Power Shell, VBScript, Bash, and Korn Shell for safety-critical applications.
- Utilize static and dynamic code analysis tools and fuzzing tools such as Coverity, Fortify, and Sonar Qube.
- Manage software change control, change management, and CI/CD processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and at least 2 years of software engineering experience, or a Master’s/PhD with zero experience.
- Familiar with safety-critical embedded real-time software and all phases of the software development life cycle.
- Experience with Agile framework as Product Owner, SCRUM Master, or team member.
- Knowledge of RTOS (VxWorks, Integrity, Real-Time Embedded Linux) and static/dynamic analysis tools.
- Active U.S. government Secret clearance or higher, with ability to obtain special program access (PAR).
- Leadership, teamwork, excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with object-oriented architectures, programming, debugging, and hardware-software integration/testing.
- Experience with Atlassian tools, Jira, Git Hub, Git Lab, Sonar Qube, Coverity, and Jenkins.
- Experience with modeling tools such as Rhapsody or Cameo.
- Experience with DOORs and requirement specification testing using simulators and scripting languages.
- Knowledge of network interfaces and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, UDP, LAN, VLAN, SNMP).
- Salary range: $75,100.00 - $.
- Eligibility for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and long-term incentives for higher positions.

- Travel required:
Yes, approximately 10% of the time.
