Position: Physical Therapist IHR-Casual As Needed

The salary range for this position is $52.00 - $58.00 (Hourly Rate). Placement within the salary range is dependent on relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement follows the collective bargaining agreement.

Description

The Physical Therapist reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics, Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct patient care, teaching, committee participation, and departmental process improvement.
  • Models NM values of teamwork, patient first, integrity, and excellence in daily work.
  • Maintains primary responsibility over patient plan of care through collaboration with treating PT/PTAs.
  • Communicates effectively, respects diverse opinions, acknowledges contributions, and uses organizational resources efficiently.
  • Manages work schedule, completes tasks on time, and contributes to continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts.
  • Demonstrates creative problem solving and adapts treatment to special circumstances.
  • Documents thorough notes in EMR, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Provides educational materials, participates in committees and projects, and fosters respectful communication.
  • Supports student clinical or observation programs and maintains productivity standards.
  • Flexibly adjusts schedule or assignment to meet patient care needs and departmental meetings.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Illinois.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred:

  • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy.
