Our client is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their orthopedic team! You will provide healthcare services, under the supervision of a physician. Monday - Friday schedule, call 1:7 weekends (rounding only).
Responsibilities:- 50/50 split between the OR and clinic (focused on hand/foot cases but also general orthopedics)
- Administer injections, immunizations and other medical procedures
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Previous PA experience in orthopedic surgery preferred
- New graduates with applicable rotation(s) are welcome to apply!
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
