You will join a small, supportive operation where your experience and ideas will matter. The owner currently handles the service advisor responsibilities and is looking for a senior advisor who can take ownership of the customer experience and repair-order process.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Greet customers and complete vehicle intake
  • Create accurate repair orders and vehicle write-ups
  • Communicate customer concerns to technicians
  • Review digital vehicle inspection results
  • Present repair estimates and maintenance recommendations
  • Explain repairs clearly and professionally
  • Obtain customer authorization
  • Communicate with customers by phone, text, and email
  • Provide repair status updates
  • Manage repair orders from check-in through vehicle delivery
  • Follow up with customers as needed
  • Coordinate workflow between customers and technicians
  • Maintain accurate notes and documentation
  • Meet sales and customer-service KPIs
  • Help create a smooth, organized front-counter experience
Shop Overview
  • Four service bays
  • Four vehicle lifts
  • One alignment rack
  • Approximately 25-30 vehicles per week
  • Average repair order of approximately $1,200
  • AutoServe1 digital vehicle inspections
  • NAPA Auto Care and Tech Net affiliated facility
  • Friendly team with experienced technicians
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 5 years of automotive service advisor experience
  • Senior-level automotive service writing ability
  • Strong understanding of automotive repairs and maintenance
  • Proven customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage several repair orders at once
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Comfortable working toward sales and KPI expectations
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
  • Independent repair shop experience
  • Familiarity with digital vehicle inspections
  • Experience with automotive shop management software
  • Strong history of customer retention
  • Experience maintaining a high average repair order
