Associate Photographer - Knoxville, TN

Job Overview

CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP) is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces.

The Associate Photographer is responsible for creating virtual tours, floor plans, and photography for  and  Using a Pro 3 Matterport camera, digital camera equipment and iPad, they capture virtual tours and floor plans, and take residential photography for marketing purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Support marketing efforts on  and  by capturing 3‑D virtual tours and footprints.
  • Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, using photography techniques to capture the spaces in the most pleasing way possible.
  • Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.
  • While not on a residential home, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage, identify new inventory, missing availability, and properties to be photographed.
  • Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment and represent CoStar in a professional manner.
  • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying necessary to perform job functions.
  • Ability to work and drive outside during all seasons.
  • Ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of professional experience.
  • Real estate photography experience required.
  • Experience working as a professional photographer, or a recently earned degree in photography.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Strong customer service experience with a client‑first mindset.
  • Drone photography experience with a FAA Part 107 license/certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
  • Strong time‑management skills and highly detailed‑oriented.
  • Capability to accurately capture and enter data.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications; additionally Apple iOS products.
  • Enjoys working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Field experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory completion of a driving record/abstract check prior to start.
