HR Assistant

Job Description

The HR Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department by managing employee records, assisting with recruitment efforts, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this role focuses on general HR tasks and provides specialized support in recruitment, while occasionally traveling locally to meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records accurately within the HRIS system
• Assist with recruitment processes including job postings and candidate communications
• Manage HRIS system data entry and reporting
• Ensure compliance with company HR policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with employees regarding HR-related inquiries
• Support investigations and resolution of employee relations issues
• Coordinate occasional local travel arrangements as needed for HR initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with HRIS systems
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in employee relations and communication
• Effective time management abilities
• Conflict resolution skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in human resources
• Associate's degree in Human Resources or related field
