Associate Supply Chain Planner

Location:

Tennessee / Colorado / Minnesota. This role is based on site located in these states.

Primary responsibility is ensuring product availability while meeting inventory targets and ensuring flawless launch of new products.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, develop, and implement long‑term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.
  • Actively lead and participate in monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and S&OE cycle, managing long‑term rough‑cut capacity views and short‑term planning with scenario planning.
  • Identify and escalating exceptions, suggest possible scenarios and solutions.
  • Complete master data cleanup, planning system maintenance, optimization and governance of standards.
  • Create Master Production Schedule.
  • Collaborate with Medtronic Planning and Contract Mfg./OEM teams – Monthly Planning Handshake/SIOP, forecast & capacity review, Monthly and Quarterly Operation Reviews.
  • Effectively manage the supply chain to meet and exceed KPIs relating to service levels, net requirement attainment, inventory levels/inventory weeks, and backorder dollars.
  • Liaise with regions, DRP teams, Customer Operations, Contract Manufacturing, Sourcing, Marketing, and Distribution to improve overall communication and process flows.
  • Own documentation and ensure it is up to date, deployed, and the single source of truth.
Qualifications
  • Minimum:
    Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Preferred: APICS CPIM, PMP, Six Sigma or Lean/DMAIC expertise.
  • Experience with SAP and/or Blue Yonder.
  • Knowledge of EU Medical Device Regulation (EUMDR) and ERP systems in supply chain activities.
  • Proficiency in Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Strong analytics and statistical skills.
  • Experience in purchasing, forecasting and supplier management.
  • Project management experience and ability to work in teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with business stakeholders.
  • For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must satisfy 8C.F.R.§214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).

Base salary range:$62,400.00–$93,600.00 (U.S. locations, excluding Puerto Rico). Eligible for a short‑term incentive plan (Medtronic Incentive Plan).
