Position Summary:

Del Conca USA is seeking to fill the role of Maintenance Manager for our ceramic tile manufacturing facility.

As Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for driving the overall execution of the engineering and maintenance excellence in the manufacturing facility, including proactive and effective maintenance, and the experience of everyone onsite. You are also responsible for leading a team of maintenance professionals to meet safety, quality, and production goals of the facility. In this role, you will provide vision and leadership by planning and directing the efforts of the Maintenance team members to maintain site equipment, instrumentation, utilities, and facilities in compliance with good engineering.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensures all safety protocols are adhered to.
  • Supervises hourly personnel involved with maintenance, repair, programming and servicing of plant facilities and equipment.
  • Collects and records data such as requisitions, time spent, tag information, PM, and machine documents as required.
  • Manages preventative maintenance program and helps determine ways to run equipment more efficiently.
  • Responsible for maintenance of spare parts inventory.
  • Regularly conduct pre‑shift maintenance objective meetings.
  • Develop and implement training procedures and plans to train employees in new processes and equipment as well as improving skills.
  • Analyze problems that arise and determine actions that will minimize the problems, decrease costs and/or improve yields, recommend changes, upon approval, implement those changes.
  • Maintain performance records on employees, routinely communicate performance to employees (including performance reviews) and coaches’ employees on methods and techniques for improving performance, including reviewing time records.
  • Evaluate performance of employees, and discipline employees according to company policy as needed.
  • Schedule employees work time and vacation time to ensure proper coverage for department.
  • Work with operating departments and support operation to coordinate ongoing support of the plant.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's or technical degree in engineering administration or operations is preferred and/or at least 5+ years’ experience in a maintenance manager role.
  • At least 3+ years’ experience in ceramic tile manufacturing industry (required).
  • A sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset.
  • An excellent communicator with top‑notch presentation skills.
  • A thorough understanding of the latest process enhancement strategies.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Confidence in your abilities to lead organizational change.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS systems (SAP preferred).
