We are looking for a talented Cookie Decorator who views a butter cookie as a blank canvas. This role is a unique blend of high-volume production and detailed artistry. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our signature cookies—from precision cutting and baking to intricate icing work. If you have a steady hand, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality, we want to see your work.
EssentialResponsibilities
- Full-Cycle Production:
Manage the cutting, baking, and cooling of our butter cookies to ensure the perfect foundation for decorating. - Icing Artistry:
Decorate cookies with flawless consistency, ensuring every batch matches our established "work of art" standards. - Process Discipline:
Follow all decorating patterns and bakery processes exactly as shown. Consistency across hundreds of cookies is our top priority. - Kitchen Pace:
Work with a strong sense of urgency to meet daily production quotas and custom order deadlines. - Quality Control:
Monitor bake times and icing consistency to ensure every cookie meets our taste and aesthetic requirements. - Workspace Excellence:
Assist in keeping the decorating station and general bakery environment clean, sanitized, and organized.
- Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of professional decorating experience, specifically with royal icing or specialized cookie flood techniques (required). - Education:
High school diploma or GED. - Portfolio:
Candidates must demonstrate their ability to produce clean lines, consistent colors, and intricate details.
- Fine Motor Precision: A steady hand for detailed piping and flooding.
- Logical Prioritization:

The ability to maintain a productive and upbeat attitude with the rest of the decorating team. - Methodical Approach: A focus on accuracy, ensuring that "Cookie #1" and "Cookie #100" look identical.
- Visual Acuity:
Must have excellent close-range vision and the ability to distinguish subtle color variations. - Physical Stamina:
Requires standing for long periods, bending, and the ability to lift/move items up to 50 lbs. - Environment:
Climate-controlled retail bakery with occasional exposure to a 0-degree walk-in (cold-weather gear is provided).
