Production Furnace Assistant

Furnace Assistants will start making $23.08 and can grow to $26.68 after 90 days with good attendance and performance.

Work only 15 days out of the month with 7 days off to have a good work life balance.

Sign‑On Bonus: $300 after 90 days (Rehires not eligible). Retention Bonus: $600 after 9 months (Rehires not eligible).

Hours:

Rotating shift 7 AM – 7 PM and 7 PM – 7 AM. You will work BOTH dayshift and night shift as part of your rotation. Shift rotation schedule: 4 on, 3 off, 3 on, 1 off, 3 on, 3 off, 4 on, 7 off, and the rotation starts over.

As our new Furnace Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in all furnace operations as required in a timely but safe manner to ensure smooth running operations and a productive shift.

This position requires a person willing to work in extreme temperatures, in an industrial manufacturing environment, and wearing protective equipment. If you have manufacturing experience and are a safety‑minded individual, then you could be a good candidate for this role.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Highly motivated, goal‑oriented, ethical, and challenge driven.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime and rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation.

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Position requires the use of senses, including visual examination, observing surrounding traffic, and determining employee location.
• Position requires the ability to judge distance and distinguish colors.
• Position requires the use of touch and smell to identify problems with equipment, and the ability to speak and understand speech.
• Must be adequately able to hear safety alarms.
• Position may require working in tight and confined working conditions.
• Position will require working in extreme heat while working directly on or near furnaces.
• Position requires the ability to climb, ascend/descend ladders, balance, and work at heights for extended periods of time. Also requires body movement such as walking, standing, reaching, crouching, sitting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, and turning of torso.
