Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with extensive experience in injection molding and blow molding to support a high-speed plastics manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for optimizing processes, improving efficiency, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting new product launches while ensuring the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Optimize molding processes to improve productivity, reduce scrap, and increase efficiency.
• Troubleshoot processing issues and implement corrective actions using root cause analysis.
• Support new product introductions and process validation.
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to maximize equipment performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Develop process documentation and train production personnel on best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
• 10+ years of plastics processing experience.
• Strong experience with injection molding, blow molding, and PET, PP, and HDPE processing.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience.
• RJG Master Molder certification preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Manufacturing environment with regular time on the production floor and occasional travel as needed.
