Production Associate

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Production Associate to support fiberglass insulation manufacturing operations at the Springfield OEM Plant. This position is responsible for assisting machine operators, operating production equipment, packaging finished products, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring production goals are achieved in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities Assist machine operators during production. Operate production equipment and presses. Remove finished parts from presses. Separate parts from scrap materials. Assemble products according to work instructions. Package finished products into bags, boxes, totes, and skids. Label and prepare products for storage or shipment. Move completed materials to storage or the next production process. Follow all plant safety policies and procedures.

Properly wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ensure machine safety devices are in place. Report unsafe conditions or behaviors immediately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Know emergency stop procedures and safety precautions. Read and interpret work orders and job instructions. Prepare packaging materials, totes, skids, and boxes. Maintain production accuracy and efficiency. Meet daily production goals. Perform additional duties assigned by the Shift Leader.

Required Qualifications Manufacturing or production experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Ability to read and understand work orders and production instructions. Strong attention to detail. Good teamwork and communication skills. Regular attendance and reliability.
