Nurse Practitioner - NP​/PA Primary Care Weekends

P/T Every Weekend Float for Nashville Area – 15 hours per week, Part time.

• Patient charting and follow‑up completed in the clinic during the shift, no work taken home

• Provide primary and family evidenced‑based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems, counseling, and disposition planning.
• Perform administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow‑up, insurance verification and payment collection, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Handle patient appointments and perform routing examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
• Speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, complete diagnostic tests, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
• Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare through services such as screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management.

• Minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in family medicine or primary care.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• Experience providing holistic, evidenced‑based care including pregnancy prevention and STI education.
• Ability to order and administer immunizations and injections (e.g., COVID‑19, influenza, TB, Depo). Provide vaccine counseling and education.
• Minimum of two years medically relevant experience or equivalent.
• Complete DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
• Language proficiency (speaking and writing) in additional languages, including but not limited to Spanish.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation.
• Pass a Fit test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.

• Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and state license for Advanced Practice Nurse role.
• Or Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or equivalent health‑related master’s degree) with national certification and state license for the role.

• EPIC experience preferred.

15 hours.

Part time.

$41.85 - $90.13 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay.
