Role Overview:
The RN Manager for the Cardiac Cath Lab provides leadership and oversees daily operations within the unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and direct patient care operations, supporting staff and mentoring team members.
- Delegate tasks according to legal and professional standards.
- Maintain departmental performance, support staff development, and provide direct patient care when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with patient care standards and resource management to optimize productivity and control costs.
- Communicate effectively with leadership to uphold quality standards.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure.
- Plus one year of progressive management or leadership experience in a hospital setting.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS, CPI, PALS, and NRP certifications required or obtained within specified time frames.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing.
