Position Summary

As a part of our produce team, you’ll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness.
You will be in the front‑lines of customer service – your smile makes a difference and you can help enhance the member’s shopping experience.
- Make impact by maintaining a positive attitude, greeting members and providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain clean, neat and member‑ready area, receive and stock merchandise in an organized manner, and keep inventory so that there is no out of stock or over‑stocked product.
- Support other areas as requested and track goods, maintain in‑stock levels and control shrinkage.
- Understand processes and specifications related to produce quality, prepare products according to established standards, maintain product safety and follow sanitation guidelines.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates.
- Use perpetual inventory management techniques to rotate products, ensure date‑control standards, eliminate waste, and guide peers while attending to customer needs.
- Act as a talent ambassador, advocating the department, modeling high‑quality service and products, and executing basics at the highest level of quality.
- Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these in business processes and practices.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data and resources, collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners, and determining ways to address improvement opportunities.
- Minimum:
Must be 18 years of age or older and acknowledge that you must successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period if hired. - Preferred:
Experience in produce, passion for and understanding of produce quality, strong customer‑service orientation, adaptability, curiosity and creative thinking, effective communication, and the ability to lead by example.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
