Sales Associate

Position Overview

We’re looking for candidates to serve as Part‑time Sales Associates who deliver outstanding customer service while driving strong sales. Candidates should be friendly, energetic, and approachable.

• Greet and assist customers promptly, handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing them to merchandise, and offering recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns, turning returns into exchanges when possible while using product knowledge.
• Communicate needs to management, including restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve overall store and company objectives, contributing to a positive work environment.

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology, such as cash registers and hand‑held devices.
• Good communicator who can engage with customers.
• Can handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information‑gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training.

• Frequently operate a cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5‑10 feet.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers via telephone and face‑to‑face, and with managers and coworkers.
• Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers, and to/from the stock room to retrieve and put away merchandise.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, overnight shifts, and travel as required.
• Must be able to identify and follow email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
