Outside Sales Representative / Sales Engineer

The Atlanta ABB/Baldor-Reliance District Office is looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative/Sales Engineer to help grow our business across the North Georgia and East Tennessee region. While East Tennessee is our preferred location, we will consider outstanding candidates with relevant industry experience located elsewhere within our territory.

This is an opportunity to represent one of the most respected names in the industrial marketplace while partnering with OEMs, distributors, end users, contractors, and engineering firms to deliver innovative motor and power transmission solutions.

What You'll Do

• Develop new business while growing existing customer relationships.
• Provide technical sales support and application expertise.
• Build long-term partnerships by helping customers solve real‑world challenges.
• Collaborate with our inside sales, operations, and factory teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Manage a healthy sales pipeline and drive profitable growth within your territory.

We're Looking For

• 3+ years of outside sales, application engineering, or related industrial experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated with a customer‑first mindset.
• Experience with industrial motors, drives, power transmission, pumps, HVAC, automation, rotating equipment, or related industrial products is preferred, but not required.
