• Supervise approximately 13 hourly union employees on the Rod Mill floor
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and foster a zero‑incident culture
• Drive production results aligned with quality standards and daily output goals
• Complete shift reports and communicate effectively with crew and supervisors
• Coordinate with Lower Reform Foreman and General Foreman as needed
• Support professional growth and accountability across your team
• Tackle special assignments and lead operational improvements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3-5 years of rolling experience in rod or bar mill production
• Experience supervising in a unionized manufacturing environment

• Ability to interpret safety protocols, maintenance instructions, and operational procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for crew direction and reporting
• Basic math proficiency – add, subtract, multiply, divide
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and PC‑based systems

• Assertive and goal‑oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to remain positive and composed under pressure
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and manage priorities

• Frequent standing, talking, and listening
• Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, or crawling
  
  Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Work environment includes noise, mechanical parts, heat, cold, and outdoor exposure
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus
