your specific responsibilitiesassists with managing the administrative functions of the right of way office. Performs special projects and statistical research which requires research of department records, compiling data, and often exercising an independent judgment. Serves as the delegate to the district right of way manager for email, calendar as well as delegate to the district right of way manager for the workplace contingency plan data.
process revenue received for lease payments & surplus sales in receipt processing system (rps). Process various invoices related to all phases of the eminent domain process necessary to process payment via right of way invoice transmittals (rit) to include land agreements, relocation claims and clerk of court payments in accordance with provisions and requirements of section 215.422 f.s. This includes contracting responsibilities and miscellaneous invoices using the right of way management system (rwms) and contract funds management (cfm).
Creates & monitors the cost center’s annual operating expense budget and forecast expenditures. Serves as the warrant control office ensuring warrants are received, secured and delivered in compliance with florida statutes and fdot procedure.
processes all personnel actions including but not limited to recruitment, selection & classifications. Maintains personnel files and ensures secure confidentiality on all matters. Provides assistance to staff in the clarification of policies and procedures in personnel related matters. Maintains a current organizational chart. Serves as the people first timekeeper.
